Many capable DIY enthusiasts or multi-skilled workers already possess strong practical abilities but lack formal certification. This course provides a structured, assessment-based route into the gas industry.
Just like learning to drive, the course is assessment-led, meaning that confident and capable learners can progress at a pace that reflects their skills and experience. Students can join without prior qualifications and demonstrate their ability throughout the training.
If a student doesn’t meet the required competency levels during training, additional support and instruction will be provided. Our **flexible, no-obligation pay-as-you-go model** allows students to upgrade or downgrade their course level as needed during the program.

Skill Trade-Up to Gas Course (including initial ACS Competence Assessments):
From £1,680 – includes training and certification.
All students must complete a portfolio of job-based work experience, supervised by a Gas Safe registered engineer or company. If you don’t have access to a Gas Safe engineer, you can utilise our experienced team of trainers and engineers. Real-world experience will be gained on genuine installations, repairs, and emergency jobs, building your portfolio as your confidence grows.
Portfolio packages (including approval): From £1,500 to £2,400, depending on your location.
