Gas Engineering Courses for Plumbers with a Level 3 Qualification
Students already possessing a level 3 plumbing, ventilation or heating craft certificate can join the shorter cross skills training course. The course is assessment based (just like learning to drive) so students falling into this category have the opportunity to join the program at a higher level, and using their own learning abilities and self-confidence work comfortably through the syllabus and site training.
Course Details
The CTS Group Up-Skill to Gas Course, which includes the initial ACS Competence Assessments will cost from £1480, Including Training and Certification. From here students will also need to complete a portfolio of hands-on, job work experience, which must be recorded as evidence of your abilities. This is to be undertaken alongside a gas safe registered company or engineer.
Students who do not have access to their own gas safe registered engineer to assist with their work experience and gas portfolio building section of their qualification, have the option to utilise our own national network of highly experienced gas safe registered engineers. You will work alongside one of our best engineers on legitimate repairs, installations or gas emergencies while you build your portfolio, recording your work experience as your skills grow.
Depending on your location, prices range from £1500 to £2400, including portfolio approval.
As a student you can also utilise the services of an approved gas portfolio building company. For details of approved companies simply contact your assigned tutor.
