CTS Group is a leading provider of gas services in the UK. Alongside our domestic and commercial engineering work, we offer high-quality training and support for both new entrants and existing registered gas engineers. Our programs are designed to help individuals expand their skills and prepare for both initial and five-yearly ACS gas assessments.
In response to the decline of apprenticeships and employer-led training in the 1990s, we extended our services to the private sector in 2004. This expansion created a flexible, employer-sponsored pathway into the gas industry—ideal for newcomers and those transitioning from related trades.
Over the years, we have developed a range of structured training programs to support our own team of engineers. Recognising the wider need across the industry, we made these programs available to others as part of our long-term commitment to raising standards and promoting gas safety.
With fewer formal CPD (Continuing Professional Development) opportunities available today, our employer-backed approach continues to provide a reliable and professional route into the gas sector, while also helping qualified engineers enhance and broaden their existing skills.
