All Quotations are 1005 relative to the entry level and learning curve of each student. Everyone is different and some delegates take far longer to learn, and as such require more time, more training. more support, more cost. This means each trainee will be evaluated and entered onto a Cat 2 or 3 program. The speed at which you can demonstrate competence in learning, the shorter the training period.
Like learning to drive some take a few weeks, others years. Becoming a licenced gas engineer is wholly subject to your demonstration of competence, theory and practical knowhow, and ability to implement the safety protocols of the GIUSP and enforcing the gas regulations, building regulations, British Standards, and current legislation.

For example, if you wish to join the program, we provide a sample training module that involves watching a short video with training information, and then take a multi choice test to confirm how much you absorbed in your first sitting, and how many attempts it takes to reach 1005 by referring to the data sheets we supply with the test. Regardless of your background or current qualification, we give all trainees the same entry test to determine how to best deliver your training.
For example an entrant who completes the entry test in under 3 attempts get to start at the lowest price for stage 1 (Your theory Training) Costs start from £576 + Vat for fast learners requiring less tutoring, up to £1250 + Vat for trainees that require a lot of their tutors time to complete this stage. We deliver stage 1 as an open learning experience which is mostly self study with one or two sit ins with your personal instructor each week to help and gauge your progress, assist with any difficult subjects.
The more time the tutor needs to hold the student's hand at each stage, the higher the cost.
The standard Stage 1 & 2 Cost (On and off the Job Training and MLP) Foundation course and full portfolio guaranteed (no waiting lists) no delay in getting it signed off either which means the duration from start of stage 1 and 2 (theory and practical training on and off the job) = £1600 + Vat (Based on an intelligent adult with DIY Skills). Students requiring far more time and who still want to join the industry will have to pay far more for the essential safety training required.
Initial ACS Assessment With Training, Assessment & Certification
Your goal is to gain entry to the accredited certification scheme for gas fitting operatives, where competence will earn a certificate which can be used to apply for your gas licence. Since we are an employer and have done your training we have to send you to a third party for assessment. we make all the arrangements and you can chose any centre n the UK, local or distant that best suits your timeframe and budget. At the moment our partners are charging from £1800 + Vat for 10 to 14 days in centre going through final training and gaining your acs certificates CCN1 (CPA1), CENWAT and choice of appliances. Up to this time, all your training ahs been completed within a gas company on and off the real job, alongside our own professionals.
As a guide, prices at this stage are constantly fluctuating, but at the moment this is between £1700 + Vat £3900 + Vat. You will only need to do this the once if you remain in the industry, and 5 yearly renewals are far cheaper.
Kickstart To Work
For graduating trainees needing solo experience and constant tech support to get started in the field, we provide your gas licenhce and treat you as an employee or contractor, providing you paid work to gain experience on so we can offer references and and the essential experience required by the leading employer's'.
Costs start at £480 + Vat and rise depending on whether you simply want tech support only for a year, or if you want paid work on days to suit, as we induct you as a professional, or if already established in the white van field then we help you get your own registration (and you pay gas safe direct)
